“I have been in the industry for almost 15 years now! My background started as a little teenager working in high end day spas, and being 1 of 5 girls, I was always the sister doing everyones hair and makeup. I then went to cosmetology school in high school and realized quickly my passion was skin and definitely not hair. I started my career as a freelance makeup artist, getting to go to school in Hollywood, and then getting to do makeup for runway, print, commercial, and live events. I was known as the makeupless-makeup artist, because although that’s what I did by trade, I never wore any myself. I always was passionate about skin health and my favorite part of makeup was the prepping of the skin and creating a flawless base. I always knew end game was going back for my aesthetics license and laser license, so I could create the type of spa I longed for in the DFW area. I’m very passionate about creating a specific vibe, always striving to be warm, and approachable, and a luxurious experience. I wanted to create the best of both worlds, which is why our slogan is “Where Day Spa, Meets Med Spa”.
I like to say I’m a “hippie with a side of juvederm”. Although I focus on a more natural approach to aesthetics, I do love and appreciate the medical side of skincare so I am a licensed laser tech with advanced knowledge to help incorporate into your beauty and wellness journey. I love pampering people and being a place of rest and rejuvenation, and in turn helping improve their wellness and skincare journey. Whether you choose to spend your time investing in your skin health, or easing body pain, or enhancing your natural beauty, my goal is for you to feel confident, informed, and empowered. I am also a proud single mama of 5, three precious girls and two handsome boys! I am happiest having a hot cup of tea in hand, traveling, playing mamarazzi, and collaborating with other creatives in the industry. If you’re into the enneagram, I am a 8 wing 7! Golden Haus is my dream made reality, and I hope you all feel the love and intention I’ve put into it.”
